Nagpur: Three members of a family were beaten with rod and stick by neighbour in Bhaldapura, opposite Chitra Talkies, coming under Ganeshpeth police Station. The names of the injured are Sheikh Ahmed, his wife Wahida and daughter Zeba.’
According to a complaint lodged with police, Sheikh Ahmed was washing his car outside his house yesterday morning when water got sprayed on Sheikh Kalim. Unable to bear this Sheikh Kalim picked up a quarrel with Sheikh Ahmed. They came to fist and blows and them it took a serious turn. Sheikh Kalim, Sheikh Salim and their nephew attacked Sheikh Ahmed with stick and rod. Seeing him being beaten Sheikh Ahmed’s wife and daughter ran to save him but they were also beaten.
Soon after the incident Sheikh Ahmed rushed to the Ganeshpeth police station to lodge a complaint. Police have booked all the three accused and are investigating.
