Three injured after auto overturned in road accident

Nagpur: Three people were seriously injured after an over speeding four-wheeler knocked down a six seater auto rickshaw near Uppalwadi railway over bridge on Sunday afternoon.

Passengers-Amar Dhoke, 34, a resident of Teen Nal Square and Pachpaoli resident Sahiya Khan, 12- and auto driver Anil Khan are undergoing treatment at Mayo hospital.

Khan filed a police complaint alleging that he was heading to Kamptee when a recklessly driven white coloured four-wheeler hit the auto rickshaw and fled away. The auto toppled due to the collision and all three travelling in it were injured.

Passers-by rescued Khan and other injured and rushed them to Mayo hospital. Jaripatka police has registered a case against the unidentified accused driver.
