Three houses burgled, valuables worth Rs 2 lakhs stolen

Nagpur: In two separately committed incidents of house-burglary, the unidentified burglars stole away valuables worth Rs 2,02,900 on the night of June 19-21.
According to Hudkeshwar police, Sachin Chaple, aged 45, resident of Juna Subhedar Layout, had gone out to Mohapa with his family on June 19, locking his house. Simultaneously, his tenant, Ajay Santoshrao Parachi also had clocked his room and gone out. Taking advantage of the unmanned house, the thieves broke the locks of both the houses and took away the valuables from their respective houses. The theft was recovered only when Sachin and his tenant Parachi returned on June 21.
As per details, the valuables in both cases include gold-silver ornaments and Rs 4000 cash, in all Rs 1,09,500.
On their complaints,the Hudkeshwar police has registered the cases of burglary against the unidentified burglars, and is further investigating the cases.
According to Hudkeshwar police, yet another incident of house-breaking took place on June 22 in which the unidentified thieves took away gold-silver ornaments, watch, mobile and Rs 500 cash, all valuables worth Rs 93,400 from the house of Surendra Banarasi, resident of Swatantra Sangram Colony,  Mhalginagar. PSI Navaghare is investigating the case.
