    Three held for looting Ramtek couple of Rs 20 lakhs

    Nagpur News : Local crime branch police has arrested three youths for allegedly looting a Ramtek couple of cash and gold and sivler ornaments worth Rs 20 lakhs around a fortnight ago. Police has seized gold ornaments and silver ornaments worth Rs 19.5 lakhs from Pravin Patil, Bunty Khobragade, both residents of Ramtek and Kanhan resident Vicky Khandare. All accused are in their twenties.

    On February 27, Dilip Gurav and his wife were heading to Ramtek in their two-wheeler when three youths on a four-wheeler interrupted them near Paoni turning in Dwalapur police station jurisdiction, and looted cash, ornaments from them.

    Tipping off the secret sources, Local crime branch sleuths headed by senior police inspector Rajan Pali nabbed the youths from Kamptee and Kanhan area.
