Three city cagers for U-14 School Nationals

Three city cagers Shreya Dandekar, Siddha Deshmukh and Devang Chavhan have been selected for the U-14 School National Basketball Championship slated to be held at Gotan Rajasthan from November 17 to 22.
The national meet has been organized by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI).
Shreya Dandekar is a student of Bhavan’s BVM Srikrishna Nagar, Siddha studies at the Centre Point School, Katol Road, and Devang represents Modern School, Koradi.
All the three city players were picked to represent Maharashtra during the State trials held at Bramhapuri recently. They have been attending preparatory camp at Nashik.
While Shreya is a member of Dharampeth Krida Mandal (DKM), Siddha practices at the Shivaji Nagar Gymkhana (SNG) Courts and Devang plays at the Bajaj Nagar-based Nutan Bharat Yuwak Sangh (NBYS) courts.
Both Shreya and Siddha have earlier played in the Sub-Junior national basketball championship at Patna. Devang will represent Maharashtra for the first time.
All the three players have been congratulated by the president of Nagpur District Basketball Association (NDBA) Sandip Joshi and other members of the district body.
