Nagpur Today : Vidya is marrying Siddharth Roy Kapur, head honcho of UTV Motion Pictures, who is a two-time divorcee. We hope he’s third time lucky! It’s been about a month since the much speculated wedding of Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan took place, and now another Bollywood wedding is in the offing as actor Vidya Balan and beau Siddharth Roy Kapur , MD, Studios – Disney UTV, finally get set to walk.
The wedding festivities for actress Vidya Balan and her beau ( UTV-Disney head honcho) Siddarth Roy Kapoor were finally flagged off with a private Sangeet event in Mumbai.Held at Vidya’s Khar residence, the first celebration was strictly a family affair, with only close non-Bollywood friends in attendance.

Vidya is said to have performed on her superhit track from The Dirty Picture, Ooh La La at her sangeet ceremony. So now that the Boombat Balan is breaking a million hearts and will no longer be single, let’s look at how the woman who dares to be different plans to celebrate her special day and her life henceforth.
The entire schedule of Vidya’s upcoming film opposite Emraan Hashmi for Rajkumar Gupta, Ghanchakkar, was designed keeping Vidya’s wedding in mind. Looks like the dats had been fixed way before they were ousted to the media. Ghanchakkar is also produced by UTV, the company for which beau Siddharth is CEO. Tomorrow 14 Dec, Vidya is going to marry SRK .Vidya will have an exquisite trousseau for the wedding including Kanjeevaram silk saris from Tamil Nadu.
Some of the sarees have been designed by Vidya’s favourite Sabyasachi Mukherjee, including the one she wore on her sangeet. In fact, one of the sarees to be included was designed by the winning participant of a design competition via a leading daily newspaper. The total number of sarees is 18.
They are all hand-crafted, and two out of those are bridal wear. The sarees done on Madras Silk will be hand-crafted by Sabyasachi 
himself. The actual ceremony is going to take place in both Punjabi and South Indian style on December 14th, 2012.The date has been specially picked for the ceremony as it is auspicious for the family. Vidya’s sister, Priya, was also married on this date.
The wedding will be in both Punjabi and South Indian style at Vidya’ residence. A reception in Chennai is planned, if rumours are to be believed. The couple will head for a honeymoon in the Caribbean Islands post the wedding. Siddharth has purchased a sea-facing apartment for his lady love on Juhu Tara Road, Juhu, Mumbai which is valued at Rs. 14 crore. Vidya has done it up, and the couple will move in once back from their honeymoon. Now, that’s a wedding gift!
