Thieves loot youth on the pretext of asking address

Nagpur News : Two motorcycle-borne youths looted another youth of his valuables on the pretext of enquiring about an address on Friday. The theft took place under the jurisdiction of Dhantoli police station.

The 28-year-old Rahul Ramesh Mohansarkar, a resident of Rameshwari Nagar, Dwarkapuri, was heading back home on his Hunk motorcycle (MH 31 PJ 5148) when two youths came from rear at Congress Nagar, near Kiran Pandav’s house and asked Rahul about an address. Rahul stopped to tell them the address. But, the youths took out a knife and looted him on knife-point. They took away his gold ring, a silver ring, RC book, licence, and 1,400 cash collectively worth Rs 20,900 from his possession.

After the youths left the spot, Rahul reached Dhantoli police station and lodged a complaint against the thieves. Cops have registered an offence under Sections 392 and 34 of the IPC.
