Thieves caught red-handed by Lakadganj cops

Nagpur News: With the help of a vigilant constable on patrolling duty, Lakadganj police were successful in arrested three thieves on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday.

The accused have been identified as Manish Ranbahadur Shah (30), Bhimbahadur Kesbahadur Rawat (Thapa) (35), and Dinesh Jagan Thapa (Rawat) (35), all natives of Kathmandu, Nepal. According to information, the accused broke the lock of a Medical shop ‘Noble Medical’ and entered the shop. The thieves stole medicinal material worth Rs 2667 and Rs 1430 cash from the cash counter.

The complainant police constable Ghanshyam Tidke, who was on night patrolling duty, saw the three in the medical shop and suspected their intentions. He immediately informed the police control room and bravely nabbed the three accused.

On the complaint of Tidke, police Sub Inspector Neware registered a case under Section 457, 380, and 34 of the IPC. Further investigations are under way.
