Theft worth Rs.1.5 lakh in public bus

Nagpur News: A visitor from Pune found her bag relieved of valuables worth Rs. 1.5 lakhs while travelling in a Starbus in the city last night.

Kusum Bhimrao Tembhurne, a resident of Jyotiba Nagar, Pune had come to the city to visit her brother- in- law. She boarded a Starbus (MH 31 CA 5078) to Jatala. As the bus was crossing Maharajbagh and going towards Bhole Petrol Pump, Kusum realised that some money, her gold mangalsutra and a few other valuables were missing, having probably been taken from her bag by one of the many passengers who sat sat beside her along the way.
