COLORS’ Silsila…Badalte Rishton Ka is an unconventional drama revolving around the life of the picture-perfect couple Kunal Malhotra (Shakti Arora) and Mauli Malhotra (Aditi Sharma). Life as they knew it changed when the docile Nandini Thakur (Drashti Dhami) walked into their world. Nandini, being Mauli’s childhood friend was facing major difficulties in her marriage with Rajdeep Thakur (Abhinav Shukla), a trauma that both Mauli and Kunal wanted to help her with. Unknowingly, Nandini was drawn towards the strength offered by Kunal and her safe place in Kunal’s heart which shattered Mauli’s marriage and her friendship with Nandini. Today, the much-loved artists of the show Shakti Arora and Aditi Sharma visited the charming city of Nagpur to meet and greet with their fans and talk about their experience on the show.
Talking about his role Shakti Arora said, “Kunal is a complex character to portray and this has been a deeply rewarding journey for me so far. Overwhelmed in love, boundaries between right and wrong have started blurring for him. His relationship with Nandini leaves him torn about the injustice to his wife Mauli, that is now eating him inside out. Essaying these varied hues of emotions is a challenge which I love to embark upon everyday.”
On his visit to Nagpur Shakti said, “It’s been such a pleasure visiting Nagpur and as the city is known for its luscious oranges, I’m really hoping to take some back home for family and friends.”
Aditi Sharma commented saying, “Silsila explores a subject that is a social taboo but one that exists around us and is never spoken out. We’ve had a wonderful time shooting for it thus far and it’s been one of the most memorable projects for me. I wish our fans continue to shower us with the same love and adulation, there’s nothing more satisfying than touching so many lives with our work. I am looking forward to exploring the city and trying the famous Orange Barfi, I will even take some back home for my husband.”
The current track focuses on a heartbroken Mauli who has once again been once rejected by the love of her life, Kunal. She is shown walking in the middle of the road where she meets with a fatal accident and is rushed to the hospital. On the other hand, Kunal has planned a romantic date with Nandini and the duo have a great time together. The news of Mauli’s pregnancy is revealed before Rajdeep, who comes across her in the hospital. How will the truth of Mauli’s pregnancy transform the relationship dynamics between Kunal and Mauli and where will his relationship with Nandini stand?
