Nagpur: In a daylight incident, a 17-year old girl was thrashed and molested by a man in MIDC area here on Friday. The accused has not been arrested so far.
The accused has been identified as Aryan alias Ranjan Sharma (24). According to the complainant 17-year old girl, residing in MIDC police jurisdiction, she was going walking around 1 pm on Friday. At the same time, the accused Aryan Sharma, residing in same area, came from behind and pushed her on the ground. Later the accused resorted to vulgar acts and also thrashed her severely.
MIDC API Bhatkule, acting on the victimised girl’s complaint, booked the accused Aryan Sharma under Sections 354, 323 of the IPC read with Section 8 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. The accused has not been arrested as yet
