Nagpur: MIDC police have arrested a teenage boy for raping a 10-year old girl at her own house on Wednesday, March 24, afternoon.
The complainant mother of the victim told police that she and her husband went to work on Wednesday. Their 10-year old daughter and son were at home. Between 2.30 pm and 3 pm, the accused Rajdeo Tengar Shahu (19), a neighbour, came to their house with evil intentions. The accused sent the brother of the girl to a shop for purchasing a packet of chips and raped the kid girl. The victim girl narrated the heinous incident to her parents when came home. The mother of the girl immediately lodged a complaint in this regard with MIDC police.
API Musale registered a case under Sections 376, 376(A)(B), 376(3), 354(A) of the IPC read with Sections 4, 6, 8, 10 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and arrested the accused Rajdeo Shahu. Further probe is underway.
