‘Tandoori Nights’ set to charm foodies with lip-smacking Special Uzbekistan delicacies

Nagpur: The foodies of this Orange City are set to be charmed by a night of lip-smacking snacks that would tickle their taste buds to the full. The relishers would find the foods not only in their palate but also in their hearts. And why not. When it comes to special Uzbekistan cuisine, words should be set aside and the action (food) taken. After all, it is the ferocious demand of the taste buds and the fiery belly.

Since 1997, Shri Balasaheb Tirpude College of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Nagpur is consistently organizing different events that include Theme Dinner, Theme Restaurant, Food Weeks and Food Festivals. All activities of the event are carried out by the students under the guidance of the faculty and the core team of event organizers.
Likewise, this year the students of the college had worked hard on different specialty preparations from Uzbekistani Cuisine along with Chinese and Indian Cuisines, with an affirmative note that they are organizing the food festivalTandoori Nights, Delicious December 2014’. In the coming few years, ‘Tandoori Nights’ is anticipated to be an iconic event of the Orange City associated with the institute as a brand event.
This year the students are preparing sixty-four variant preparations along with their accompaniments for the food enthusiast of Orange City in this food festival. This year specialties include delicacies from the- Uzbekistani Cuisine; this season the Special Uzbekistan menu will be served to Mutton Samsa, Chicken Samsa, Vegetable Samsa, Mutton Sish Kabob, Chicken Sish Kabob, Kimiya Kabob, Mutton Shashlik Kabob, Chicken Shashlik Kabob, Paneer Shashlik Kabob and Uzbekistan specialty dessert like the Mango Samsa in Blossom Water, Orange Samsa in Blossom Water and Honey Blossom Samsa.
There shall be four-sections in the menu which are as International Delicacies, Special Indian Kitchen, Chinese Section and Dessert. These shall include some of the finest preparations being cooked and served for the guests. This time the level is taken to the higher side that will definitely increase the curiosity of the people and at the same time it will increase the showmanship of the students.
The core team of students behind all the work is putting their managerial skill to an acid test by this event. The core management activities of planning and executions are being taken care of under the guidance of the faculty members. Also, the juniors in the college are assigned different work so as to give them a prima fascia of the modus operandi of the event management, thereby gearing them up to organize such event every year.
Making a collective effort is now a tradition of the institute.
The strong leadership and able guidance by President of Yugantar Education Society (YES) Rajkumar Tirpude provided motivations from time to time to students. Working President Vanitatai R Tirpude and General Secretary of YES Wamanraoji Kombade, are always there to give their tactful and strategic guidance.
