Nagpur/Chandrapur: The core tourism zone of Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) has been closed to visitors from June 30 for the annual monsoon break. The closure, which will remain in effect until September 30, 2026, is part of the reserve’s routine conservation measures aimed at protecting wildlife, allowing habitat regeneration, and ensuring visitor safety during the rainy season.
While the core zone will remain inaccessible, buffer zone safaris will continue, subject to weather conditions and road accessibility. Forest officials may temporarily suspend safaris in the buffer areas if heavy rainfall or safety concerns arise.
Tourists planning to visit Tadoba are advised to check the latest safari status and make bookings only through the official portal before travelling.
