Selected ones who are connoisseurs of art, culture and play in the city made their presence felt at award winning actor-writer-director-producer Vikash Khurana. He effortlessly succeeded in bringing out the 1908 timeless classic story of children’s literature to reality. The play, ‘The Wind in the Willows’ portrays the adventures of five beloved animal characters – The Rat, The Mole, The Toad, The Otter and The Badger. The artists received nothing less than ovations for their bizarre performances.

The audience enjoyed the eloquent narration by Vikash Khurana, who recreated a delightfully charming story for the audience at Chitnavis Centre. His attire was different for every scene and had conveyed the season and its effect portrayed in the next scene. His attire which ranged from full suits to attire of Englishmen complete with the hats, caps and Stetsons. His voice intonations and the appropriate stress at the appropriate words made the delivery entertaining and music to the ears.

The audience included beautiful gals, handsome men, couples and families from all age groups. While some chose to dress in really casual attire, some had on evening dress perfectly suiting the summer sultry evening.

Most were people who had read the story ‘The Wind in the Willows’ at some point of time or the other, while for some, it was real entertainment. The children often burst into guffaws at the comical happening of the play.
