Speeding car hits two bike, father-daughter duo fell off over bridge

Nagpur News : A mishap between three vehicles on Sitabuldi over bridge cause a father-daughter duo on a bike fell off from the over bridge on Thursday evening. After falling from a great height, the minor girl escaped with injures while her father was knocked down by a bus.

Injured Uttam Khangar, 40, a resident of Hingna, is under critical condition at a private hospital while his daughter is stated to be out of danger.

The incident took place on the bride, in front of Narula business centre, next to Mount Carmel School, Lokmat Square.
Eye-witnesses informed that the mishap was a result of car driver’s rash driving. The car driver MH31 CW6415- heading to Sitabuldi, hit a biker Rahul Mankar (MH31 CW9216) who lose balance over his vehicle and knocked down Khangar’s bike on wrong side who was heading to Rahate Colony square.

Khangar’s minor daughter was seating on the petrol tank while his wife Kanchan and another other daughter were riding pillion on his bike. Due to the collision, his bike banged on the boundary wall of the over bridge and Khangar and his daughter fell off the bridge.

While the girl fell on a tin shed and thus survived but Khangar was hit by a bus after he fell down.
