Son steals mother’s bank cheque book

Stole money from her account by forging her signature

Nagpur: In what could be mentioned as sheer desperation to make a quick buck to fulfill habits and vices, a son stole the bank cheque book of his mother and after forging her signature, withdrew rupees one lakh thirteen thousand (Rs 1,13,000) from her account. The MIDC Police has registered a case against the errant son.

According to police sources, the mother Dharavati Kishan Bhadke aged 55 years alleged that her son the accused identified as Sonu Kishan Bhadke aged 26 years and a resident of Indiramata Nagar, MIDC had stolen the cheque book of Allahabad Bank Account kept in the almirah in the house and had withdrawn a sum of rupees one lakh thirteen thousand by forging her signature on four cheques in the intervening period from May 22, 2015 to June 12, 2015.

Keeping her maternal love for her son aside, the mother Dharavati had lodged a complaint with the MIDC Police Station.

Based on the complaint of the victim mother, the MIDC police have registered a case under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code and has initiated an investigation.
