Somalwar Paddler Atharva Joshi to represent Nagpur Division in School State DSO Swimming Championship

Nagpur News: Atharva Joshi, a class X student of Somalwar High School, Nikalas Branch, has brought laurels to his school and city by qualifying to represent Nagpur Division in the Under- 17 Boys category at School State Aquatic Championship scheduled at Nagpur.

District Sports Office (DSO) Nagpur is organising the said in the city jointly with Nagpur Improvement Trust from 26th to 30th October 2012 at NIT Swimming Pool.

Representing his school at the Divisional Level Swimming Competition held at Wardha, organised by Wardha DSO, Atharva secured first place in 200- meters Individual Medley and 400- Meters Individual Medley, as well as second place in  200- meters Butterfly and will be representing Nagpur Division at the State Level Swimming Championships in these events. Atharva brought laurel to the school and city by winning plenty of the events at the Divisional and State Level Tournaments on earlier occassions as well.

Prakash Somalwar, Secretary Somalwar Academy, Vivek Joshi, Assistant. H. M. at  Somalwar Nikalas, all the Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of Somalwar Nikalas congratulated the Atharva for his achievement and wish him good luck for his upcoming endearing.
