Nagpur: Yesterday, 26th October 2017, a group of illegally people gathered around the Seminary Hills office of SND Limited and tried to obstruct the functioning of the distribution franchisee. It was observed that there was no prior intimation neither at the franchisee’s office nor the nearest police station about any such morcha. It was later learnt that corporator Bunty Shelke was leading this morcha.
Upon being suddenly attacked by mobsters, the uninformed staff at SNDL office panicked and called up the control room. Within a few minutes, police staff from Gittikhadan PS arrived. Seeing this, the corporator and his accomplices fled from the site without even meeting the officials as they could probably realize their mistake of not having informed about this morcha, and that it could land them in trouble.
SNDL wishes to communicate that such acts of interference in duties are an act of rowdiness and completely against the law. Moreover, it is well-known that the morcha leaders themselves have not paid their electricity bills since long. (Please see enclosed consumer history). We request citizens and the well-informed publication houses to help us fight against such long-time defaulters. SNDL has lodged a complaint in Gittikhadan PS today against the corporator and others for such irresponsible and intimidating behavior by public representatives.
