
Nagpur: Shrinivas Public School celebrated its Annual Function with great enthusiasm and splendour in the school premises recently. Annual Day is a testament to the vibrant and dynamic environment; it is a celebration of accomplishments, creativity, and unity within the school community. The theme of the Annual Function, “AAROHAN,” signifies the rise of conscience, emphasizing that true growth is not merely about external rules but about achieving consciousness through self-awareness.
The programme witnessed the gracious presence of the Chief Guest Dr. Sudhir Bhave, Guest of Honour, Varsha Manohar (Director SPS), Dr. Nanda Rathi (Secretary of W.E.S), Dr Harsha Jharia CAO WES, the Principal, teachers, parents, and students.
The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp. The Chief Guest, Dr. Sudhir Bhave emphasized on amplified anxiety, toxic interactions, time mismanagement and stress. Academic and sports awards were distributed to the students to recognize their achievements in studies, sports, and extracurricular.
A STEM Exhibition was concurrently organised during the Annual Function, which was appreciated by guests and parents. The cultural extravaganza was a spectacle of rich and varied hues of attire, melodious music and vibrant dances which was the kaleidoscope of different adversities of life.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by the School Captain, Isha Raut. The School Principal, Mrs. Rupali Jalan congratulated all the participants for their splendid performances and extended her warm regards. The event left a lasting impression of joy, pride, and anticipation for the future, reinforcing the school’s role in nurturing well-rounded individuals.
