Shiv Sena’s Kiran Pandav hits campaign trail, rally covers areas of South Nagpur segment

Shiv Sena candidate Kiran Pandav, contesting the October 15 Assembly election from South Nagpur constituency, hit the campaign trail with a flurry of tours and “Padayatras” in Manewada Division of the segment. Pandav’s meetings and rallies received massive response from people.

Before beginning his campaign juggernaut, Pandav garlanded the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Sambjaji Square in Manewada and then embarked on “Padayatra” and house-to-house canvassing. Pandav interacted directly with people and appealed them to press the button on “Dhanush-Ban” (Bow-Arrow), the symbol of Shiv Sena. A large number of people participated in Pandav’s rally and shouted slogans like “Kiranbhau Aage Badho, Ham Tumhare Saath Hai” “Jai Maharashtra” “Vare Dhanush-Ban Aa Gaya Dhanush-Ban” in high pitch.

Kiran Pandav’s “Padayatra” covered Vinkar Colony, Sevadal Nagar, Divan Layout, Shahu Nagar, Gitanagar, Shrihari Nagar, Kalyaneshwar Nagar, Amba Nagar, Chintamani Nagar, Ramchandra Nagar, Alankar Nagar, Shrikrushna Nagar, Ekmat Nagar, Gurudeo Nagar, Kapil Nagar and other areas of South Nagpur constituency. Pandav stopped at many places and sought blessings from elderly persons. He vowed to resolve issue of reserved plots of land in South Nagpur.

Prominent among those who accompanied Kiran Pandav include social worker Girish Pandav, Moreshwar Jadhav, Rambhau Kawadkar, Panjabrao Badwaik, Devidas Ruikar, Raju Patil, Vijayrao Wandhre, Bhakre Tai, Gormete, Sanjay Bawankar, Vishnukant Ugle, Prof Kashinath Ghore, Pradeep Lagde, Satish Shahu, Shewle, Sunil Chaudhary, Chakole, Deshmukh and other hundreds of workers ans supporters.

The Shiv Sena candidate Kiran Pandav received a big boost when Bharatiya Charmakar Sangh Gathai Kamgar Union extended its support to his candidature from South Nagpur constituency. In fact, the organization has declared its support to Shiv Sena in entire Maharashtra. In a meeting held at Mumbai and attended by Amravati MP Anandrao Adsul, former Social Welfare Minister Babanrao Gholap, Dharavi Assembly constituency candidate Baburao Mane, Vidarbha Pradesh President Damodar Chandekar, the Bharatiya Charmakar Sangh Gathai Kamgar Union announced its support to Shiv Sena. The organization has appealed its members to vote for Shiv Sena which has fulfilled many of demands, said Damodar Chandekar in a press release.
