Shiv Sena issues notice to traffic police

Nagpur News: Some members of the Shiv Sena, Nagpur, under directions from City Chief Suraj Goje, demanding better traffic control in the city. The Shiv Sena members included Parasram Bokde, Sunil Banerjee, Narendra Magre, Gulam Rasul and others.

The notification states that a spurt in the number of vehicles has led to a rise in accidents in Nagpur. According to the notice, “Police Machinery is falling short. Heavy vehicles and diesel autos are visibly seen on city roads, despite being prohibited. Heavy vehicles are not allowed to ply city roads at busy morning hours. Kerosene is being commonly used as fuel by vehicles. Buses are being parked near schools and colleges. The situation is dangerous in locations like Gitanjali Square, Baidyanath Square, Ravi Nagar Square, Agyaram Devi Square, S.T. Stand Square and Munje Square. The people of the city are facing problems.

The notice appealed for a solution to the problem, and has warned that the Shiv Sena will agitate if something is not done soon. The deputation included Satish Gaur, Anil Khopre, Shyam Nalode, Ashish Khatre, Chetan Banafar and others.
