Nagpur: Social Security Wing of Crime Branch on Friday raided a house in Misal Layout, Jaripatka, and busted a sex racket being run from the place. The raiding cops rescued two girls who were pushed into the flesh trade luring them with good money. The woman pimp operating the sex racket has been arrested.
Acting on a tip off, sleuths of Social Security Wing raided the rented house of the accused Kajal alias Neeta Jayant Waghmare (35) and caught her red-handed while providing girls to customers after taking money.
An offence under Sections 3,4,5 and 7 of the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA), read with Section 370 of the IPC, has been registered against Kajal Waghmare and placed her under arrest.
The raid was conducted by Police Inspector Subhada Sankhe, Woman API A P Jaipurkar and other staff under the guidance of DCP(EoW) Shweta Khedkar.
