A senior citizen lost his life in an accident under Jaripatka police station area on Sunday. The accident took place at around 9.30 am near the residence of the deceased.
Identified as Shyamlal Gomaji Kotangade (70), the deceased was a resident of Indora Square, behind Naresh flower selling shop. On Sunday, Shyamlal was taking a morning walk near his residence when a motorcycle (MH 31 7885) passed by him. Shyamlal got pushed with the motorcycle and fell on the ground with the impact. He was rushed to Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital (Mayo Hospital) for treatment. The doctors declared him dead after the preliminary treatment.

Jaripatka police registered a case of accidental death in this regard and have started the investigations.
