After many days of indecisiveness by RTMNU, authorities finally aye conducting of Engineering Examinations Winter-2013 on November 18.
Nagpur university started the engineering exams as per the scheduled timetable. After a lot of confusions and agitations of students for the past few days over postponement of exams, the students finally sighed a relief, when RTMNU authorities, okayed conducting the exams on November 18 which got off to a smooth start in 58 centers of RTMNU.
Around 23000 students appeared in the BE 3rd semester papers and 13269 students appeared for their BE 5th semester examination. On November 19, 2013, the 1ST semester engineering students will appear in their first paper.
The Controller of Examination (COE) Vilas Ramteke had put in his best efforts to ensure that the examinations begin as per the scheduled timetable. He expressed satisfaction over the timely conduction of exams.
COE Vilas Ramteke in an exclusive talk with Nagpur Today, informed that the revaluation of papers will start in full swing from November 21, 2013. He added that in order to expedite the process the examination department has enrolled extra and efficient hands. He however added that all he did was to fill-up the vacant posts of Assistant Registrar and Superintendent of Examinations.Both the officials have taken over the charge of their individual departments too since November 18, 2013.
