An elderly man committed suicide on Friday night under the jurisdiction of Kalamna Police Station. The 64-year-old Laxman Hemnani, a resident of Bhandewali, Koshtipura, hanged self to the wooden plank at the terrace with a ‘dhoti’. Police and family members are ascertained about the reason behind this extreme step.
Kalamna Police registered an offence of accidental death and sent the body for post mortem. Further investigations are under way.
