Nagpur: The Super Specialty Hospital of Government Medical College and Hospital at Nagpur successfully performed the second kidney transplant on March 28, 2016.
While speaking to Nagpur Today, Dean of Government Medical College and Hospital Dr. Abhimanyu Niswade said that this transplant is the second transplant done at the GMCH. He claimed that the operation started at 9:30 am and finished at 1:30 pm.
This time round, the Super Specialty Hospital were equipped to face any complication or problems. The team of Doctors who performed the operation while speaking to Nagpur Today said that the patient’s urea is low and electrolate is also normal and is responding well to treatment. By evening the patient had passed urine too indicating that the operation was successful.
