Nagpur: Excellent display of skills by contesting players marked the second day of 15th All India BSNL Lawn Tennis Tournament being played in city. The tournament commenced on September 24 and will continue till September 26. On Friday, singles and doubles matches were played in Ashutosh (Punjab) defeated K Ramnathan of Tamil Nadu with a big margin of 9-1. In the doubles, the pair of R N Patel and R N Jadhav (Maharashtra) tested the skills of Prashant Trivedi and Salil Majumdar of Madhya Pradesh. The Madhya Pradesh players emerged winners with the score reading 9-4.
The matches are being played at Gondwana Club and Officers’ Club.
