Science Rally held on February 29, 2016 on National Science Day.
Nagpur: Science Rally started from the centre and gone through Ganeshpeth, Model Mill Chouk, Ram Cooler Chouk, Mahal Cement Road, Shivaji Chouk, Tilak Putla, Gandhi Sagar, Subhash Road and came back to Centre. The students were holding the placards giving message of science to society.
The Rally was flagged off by Project Co-ordinator, Raman Science Centre N. Ramdas Iyer. He also delivered a lecture on Gravitation & Gravitational Waves-the newly detected and confirmed theory. The students Somalwar High School, Maa Umiaya Br., Shri Niketan, Sidhheshwar Vidyalaya, Modern School, Koradi Road, Vision Vioce Convent, Hindu Mulinchi Shala, Maharashtra Adhyayan Mandir, Shri Rajendra High School, New Apostolic English High School, Pt. Bachharaja Vyas Vidyalaya etc participated in the programme.
