Nagpur: A teenage girl who went to school has gone missing and was reportedly abducted by unidentified person(s) on Monday.
The Sitabuldi-based 16 year old girl, as usual, went to school at about 9.45 am on Monday. However, she did not return home after her school was over in the evening. The panicky relatives searched her at all possible places but could not find her.
Enquiries with the girl’s friends drew a blank. Finally, the parents approached Sitabuldi police and lodged a missing report.
Cops, as per the directives of Supreme Court that if a minor boy or girl goes missing then the case should be treated as that of kidnapping, have registered an offence under section 363 of the IPC and searching for her.
