Nagpur: A Russian girl has been rescued after the social security branch of city police raided a busy hotel under Ganeshpeth police station and unearthed a sex racket being operated from the hotel room. Police have also arrested a man from the hotel reported as Hotel Dwarkamai. The Russian girl has reportedly arrived in Nagpur from Bangalore by a flight.
The accused has been identified as — John Milan (34), Khalashi Line, Mohan Nagar, Sadar. According to police, the girl (29) arrived in city from Banglore by evening flight. The police had sent a decoy customer for a deal and the raid was conducted after the deal was fixed. The cops have rescued the girl and booked the accused under Prohibition of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA).
A police officer said that the accused was acting as broker. He was accused in PITA case registered in year 2015.
