RSS Shakhas register a growth of 18% and have increased to 55000 Shakhas

Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha of Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh to begin from March 13, 2015.

The Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh is going to host the Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha-2015 from March 13, 2015 in Nagpur. While addressing the media during a press briefing session on March 12, 2015, National Spokesperson of RSS M G alias Baburao Vaidya said that every three years this Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha is organized.

He said that delegates from 41 Prant (Regions) from all over India will be arriving at the venue (Reshimbagh Grounds) near RSS Headquarters to participate in the meet. Vaidya added that 1400 delegates from 35 allied organizations too will be participating in this meeting.

During this meeting, they will be discussing and deliberating on three important issues:

  1. The United Nations has declared the India-led resolution declaring June 21 as International Day of Yoga. Manmohan Vaidya said that RSS Sah Pracharak Pramukhs will work towards enlightening and educating the youth to recognize that Yoga provides a holistic approach to health and well-being.
  2. To work towards introducing education in mother-tongue during the primary education. He said that English has become a burden on the heads of primary school kids and instead of that the primary education should be in mother tongue.
  3. The RSS Sah Pracharak Pramukhs will work actively towards removing the caste discrimination and divide at three most important places (practiced even today especially in villages and rural areas) i.e. a) At the Temple, b) At any Water bodies and c) At the Funeral Burning Ghats (Shamshan Bhumi).

He said that the RSS officials will work actively to educate the people at large to remove this case discrimination.

Vaidya further said that the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh has developed well. The progress even in terms of Shakhas too is significant. He claimed that from 43000 (forty three thousand), the number has increased to 55,000 registering a growth of 18 %.

Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh is working actively to establish its identity among the masses too. In order to enhance the knowledge of RSS among the masses, the RSS has started the Sangh Parichay Varga. These classes are getting a good number of attendances. In order to clear the misconception and myths, the Sangh Parichay Varga was organized even for the media personnel. Two such meets were organized at Pune and Kolkatta.

While explaining about the dignitaries and prominent personalities who will be attending the meet, National RSS Spokesperson Manmohan Vaidya said that BJP President Amit Shah, Working President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Praveen Togadia, RSS Spokesperson Ram Madhav and other.

At the start of the press brief, Atul Keshav Pingle introduced National RSS Spokesperson Manmohan Vaidya, Sangh Pracharak Pramukh (South) J Nandkumar from Kerala and Sangh Pracharak Pramukh (Vidarbha Region) Anil Harkare who attended the press meet.
