Nagpur: Western Coalfields Limited celebrated Republic Day gloriously. Rajiv R. Mishra, Chairman Cum Managing Director, of WCL, unfurled the National Flag and inspected the ceremonial parade by WCL Security Guards.
Addressing members of Team WCL Mishra said that with the contribution of entire Team, WCL we has been placed with a distinct identity apart coal mining. Mishra said that we have fixed up the production target of 48 million tons of coal production, 48 million tons of dispatch and 200 million cubic meters of OB removal for current financial year (2016-17) for which we have to make every possible effort to achieve. We need to put unite effort to achieve success in coal production. He emphasized on safety and instructed not to produce coal compromising life of our colleagues.
The celebration was attended by Director Technical (Operation) B.K. Mishra, Director (Personnel) Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Director Technical (P&P) T. N. Jha, CVO, WCL A. P. Labhane, President of Jhankar Mahila Mandal, Anita MIshra, Vice President Reena Kumar, Anjana Jha, Pragati Labhane, members of steering committee and welfare board, HOD’s, Senior officers, employees, Other members of Team WCL, ladies and children were also present prominently on the occasion. After the performance given by WCL Band & Commandos, number of employees participated in Musical Chair & Tug of war. Beautiful tableau’s were also displayed by various areas of WCL on the occasion.
