Nagpur College News : In a very interesting and thought provoking presentation RCOEM bagged the first prize at the “Sectorial ‘ presentation in the intercollegiate competition held at VIA Hall recently.
The programme was organized by VIA Finance Forum.
As many as Eight Colleges from all over Vidarbha were shortlisted for the final competition. The sectors included Banking, Retailing Personal Care, Commercial Vehicles, Petro chemicals, aviation, renewable energy sectors.
A detailed, concise and conceptual layouts of each of the sectors were presented by the students &were judged on the following parameters, viz. investor’s point of view. legal compliances, Michael Porter theory, strategic decisions &future outlook , and marketing & fundamental analysis etc.
Prof. S.D.Bhave-member NHRD, Nikunj Dayma- Krizm InfoTech and . Gaurav Sarda- Simplex Chemopack Pvt. Ltd.& Joint Secretary VIA were the eminent judges a for the competition. After each presentations an interactive and interesting Q&A round was taken up by judges.
The team from RCOEM bagged the First Prize for their presentation on Aviation sector, while NMD College Gondia bagged the second prize for their presentation on Petrochemical and the third prize went to SBJITMR for Commercial vehicles sector and DAIMSR on banking sector while RCOEM also bagged a consolation prize in Personal Care sector.
Cash Prizes were distributed at the hands of Prafull Doshi President and Akash Agrawal Secretary to the winners. Prafull Doshi complimented the winners and also complimented all the participants for the excellent presentations and hoped that such competitions in different sectors are held regularly to build confidence and personality development in future managers .
Dr. Kanchan Naidu , Convenor Finance Forum Convenor Finance Forum and Prof. Ruchi Sao event in charge worked hard to make the programme a success.
