Nagpur: In yet another hit-n-run incident in Beltarodi area, a rashlydriven four-wheeler knocked dead a middle-aged man on Wardha Road on early Wednesday morning. The driver of the ‘killer’ vehicle fled the spot fearing arrest.
The deceased, Chandrashekhar Jyotiram Tirpude (45) was a resident of Plot No 246, New Khapri Rehabilitation Colony.

Tirpude was returning home on a motorcycle (MH-40/BM4219) around 3 am. A speeding four-wheeler hit Tirpude injuring him seriously.
He was rushed to Government Medical College & Hospital where the doctors pronounced him ‘brought dead.’ After registering a case under Sections 279, 304(A) of the Indian Penal Code, read with Sections 134 and 177 of Motor Vehicle Act, Beltarodi Police started the probe.
