Rash driving kills two persons in rural area

Speed and reckless driving sniffed out two more lives when two persons met with a fatal road accident. The incident occurred on Sunday in rural part of Nagpur District.

According to police, the two deceased, Pappu Ruplal Barve (25), resident of WCL Quarters, Saoner, and Kunal Prithviraj Dore (30), resident of Zingabai Takli, Nagpur as pillion, were proceeding toward Saoner on a motorcycle with great speed. When both reached near Raiwadi Fata, 15 kilometers away from Khapa, Pappu lost control over his speeding motorcycle. And as a result, the motorcycle slipped and both Pappu and Kunal crashed on the road with lethal force. The impact left them critically injured. The passersby immediately rushed Pappu and Kunal to Mayo Hospital in Nagpur. However, both succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment.

Khapa police registered an offence under Sections 279, 304(A) against the deceased Pappu Barve for negligence driving and causing death of Kunal Dore and himself. Further probe is underway.
