Property dealer attempt to rape girl, step father molests minor

Nagpur News : A woman was thrashed by a 45-year-old man when she attempts to stop him from physically abusing her 20-year-old younger sister. Ramesh Sawarkar, a resident of Thawre Colony on Hudkeshwar road, has been arrested. Sakkardara police has booked him for outraging modesty and threatening charges.

Police told that the matter was reported a month later after the incident took place on April 17. Police said the victim was hesitated to file a police complaint.

According to the victim’s statement, Sawarkar, with whom she works for property dealing, had come to her residence in Sakkardara area on April 17. She was alone in her room when he tried to overpower her and even attempt to rape her. The victim’s screamed that alerted her elder sister who rushed for help. However, Sawarkar slapped her and threw her back and continued abusing the victim.
Police said that Sawarkar even threatened the girl of killing her elder brother and running her family;s image is she didn’t maintained physical relationship with him. Sawarkar has been arrested.

In another incident, a step father has been arrested for allegedly outraging the modesty of 15-year-old girl under the jurisdiction of Imambada police station on Monday night. Police said, the victim and her younger brother were asleep in their room when Sudhakar Dongre gagged the minor and physically abused her. The minor claimed that Dongre even slapped her and threatened to kill her brother when she tried to oppose him. However, she managed to escape and complaint the matter to her mother. The victim’s mother immediately files a police complaint.
