Commissioner of Police Dr. Ankush Dhanvijay today inaugurated the Prepaid Auto stand at the Nagpur Railway Station. The CP said that with the opening of this service, chances of robbery, hold ups, cheating etc. will drastically reduce. This service will highly benefit night passengers. Corporator Pragati Patil had strived hard for bringing in this concept. Pragati Patil was assisted by Railways, RTO and Police Auto Association. This booth would give employment to women who would be working in three shifts. And because it is a prepaid service, there wouldn’t be any kind of cheating. Pragati Patil also added that this service would be operational in various parts of the city. It if now functional in the Nagpur Railway Station.
