However, the Nagpur police, too, could not escape the fact of amazing and appalling neglect and enormous delay in filing an FIR. The stunned Nagpur citizens have been raising their eyebrows, and, pondering, may be correctly, were the police saving the Bunty and Babli from the long hands of the law!!?? The thought arises from the careless attitude of police as they had first registered the suicide by Kailash an accidental death. How could police register a case of accidental death? The family members of Kailash must have tipped them of Babli’s actions of deserting Kailash within three days of marriage, and that too, by sweeping the gold ornaments?

Nagpur News: The dreaded Bunty (Monty Omprakash Jaiswal), native of Tumsar and the Babli (Movejilena alias Gudiya Deepak Sanekar), also native of Tumsar, have been booked under Section of 306 (Abetment of suicide: If any person commits suicide, whoever abets the commission of such suicide, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to ten years, and shall also be liable to fine.), Section 417 (Punishment for cheating: Whoever cheats shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to one year, or with fine, or with both and Section 34,. (Acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention of all, each of such persons is liable for that act in the same manner as if it were done by him or her alone).

It may be recalled, the Nagpur police, with the help of some auto drives, had succeeded in nabbing the tricksters Bunty and Babli from Nagpur Railway Station when they were planning a bye bye to Nagpur permanently. Both Bunty and Babli had unleashed a diabolical crime. Babli had ditched her husband Kailash Ramsingh Parihar (30) just three days after the marriage, and had eloped with Bunty. Not only she eloped but made a clean sweep of all gold ornaments and then decamped. The eloping of Babli left Kailash shocked, ashamed, and he, out of frustration, committed suicide by consuming a pesticide the same day. However, the episode took a full circle. And the luck of Bunty and Babli abandoned them as the Babli had done to her husband. Both were caught by auto drivers at Nagpur Railway Station and handed over to police.

Although the value of gold ornaments stood at Rs 7500, the well-planned escape, proved fatal and forced Kailash to take the drastic step just to save his face from the imminent shame in the society. The Babli had also given a fictitious name as Puja.

The Ganeshpeth police PSI Pendor is investigating the episode in full details and is hotly grilling both the filmy characters Bunty and Babli. The PSI Pendor has expressed a hope that both the ace criminals must have trapped and carried out the deadly modus operandi with more innocent families. Both Bunty and Babli could spill the beans in the coming days thus exposing the devilish plans of their nefarious designs.

The family members of Kailash must have tipped them of Babli’s actions of deserting Kailash within three days of marriage, and that too, by sweeping the gold ornaments? On the contrary, thousands of newly married women had, and have been ending their lives just to save themselves from the hellish torture for dowry. Are Nagpur police so illiterate to understand a simple question of a bride abandoning her husband within three days of marriage and robbing the family of gold?

The blackish picture must change, and change as soon as possible. Nagpur police must come clean of the foggy situation, and better their image, already dented deep by their intolerable attitude.
