Nagpur: Nagpur police have efficiently managed the security and traffic arrangments for the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Nagpur, and the credit goes to the citizens! Atleast the message given by the City Police Commissioner K Venkatesham says so.
The CP has extended thanks to the citizens on behalf of his entire men for excellent cooperation for the security and traffic arrangements today.
“We tried to minimise inconvenience to the least possible level. We also thank media for the role played in informing public about security arrangements and also cooperation requested from in terms of traffic, parking etc,” says Venkatesham.
The police chief futher added, “I as CP, salute the excellent display of professionalism and also motto ‘duty first’ by the policemen and officers along with Homeguards while standing on the roads in 43 degree C heat. I congratulate each of police personnel for smooth conduct of Hon PM visit.”
