Nagpur: Piles of plastic garbage accumulated in Khasada on Kamptee-Nagpur road caught fire on Wednesday, resulting in a rise of thick smoke and sending locals into panic.

Local ragpickers accumulate garbage in the vicinity. Owing to scorching heat some plastic material triggered fire, sources from Fire Department said.
Acting swiftly on the inputs, the squad of Fire Department rushed to the spot and doused the flames.
