Nagpur: Brace for a long holiday of banks. For the seven days between March 28 and April 3, banks in many parts of the country will remain open on just two days: March 30 and 31. On the rest of the days banks will remain closed on account of various holidays and annual closing of bank accounts.

Banks will remain closed this Saturday (March 28) due to Ram Navmi. On April 1, banks will remain closed for customer dealing due to annual closing of accounts.

April 2 will be a holiday for banks due to Mahavir Jayanti while April 3 will be another holiday due to Good Friday.

Stocks markets will also remain closed on April 2 and April 3 due to Mahavir Jayanti and Good Friday.
