PIGCE signs MoU with FSAI

Nagpur: Fire and Security Association of India (FSAI) is a non-profit organization which aims to foster a spirit of safe living among all citizens of India and inculcate a proactive mind-set towards safety and security at all times. It also aims to work closely with the Government and other organizations in the fire and security industry to enable the Indian fire and security industry to reach global pre-eminence with better regulatory framework.

Recently Priyadarshini Indira Gandhi College of Engineering (PIGCE), Nagpur signed MoU with FSAI. FSAI Orientation program was organized at PIGCE campus. In the formal program, Dr. Sachin Shendokar, Principal, BVCOE, Lavale, Pune and FSAI Vice-Chairman (Academic Activities), Rajendra Falke, CMD Sagar Fire Equipment, Ashish Agrawal, CEO, ACE Technologies, Dr. Ravindra Kshirsagar, Principal, PIGCE, Prof. Nilesh Shelke, III Cell Co-ordinator were present on the dais.

Dr. Shendokar and Falke made aware of all the activities of FSAI to faculties and students. Activities involved starting of skill development centre, placement activities, industrial visits, publications of research work etc. Entrepreneur Ashish Agrawal talked on expectations of industries from engineering students. Dr. Ravindra Kshirsagar gave warm welcome to dignitaries and introduced them with various innovative ideas implemented in Priyadarshini Indira Gandhi College of Engineering.

Program anchoring was done by Prof. Vaishali Kesalkar and vote of thanks was given by Prof. Nilesh Shelke. All HoDs, Faculties and students were present for this program.
