Mumbai/Nagpur: Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar speaking at the MET 2016 (Materials Engineering Technology) conference in Mumbai. Parrikar uses the platform to claim and dole out credit for the September 29 surgical strikes in Pakistan.
“Credit of success goes to the army, but credit to PM for decision making and timing. I will only share the credit, major share goes to PM. This should settle the nerves of many people,” he said.
Parrikar will be among the leaders spearheading the BJPs campaign in Uttar Pradesh, as the party gears up to showcase the decisiveness of the Modi government in hitting militant camps in PoK.
So far, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, home minister Rajnath Singh and BJP chief Amit Shah have led the partys charge in UP.
