PIET to initiate social innovation business incubator under Silice

Nagpur: Dr. Vivek Nanoti Principal Priyadarshini Institute Of Engineering and Technology Nagpur and Dr. Rakesh Himte Dean student counseling, PIET Nagpur had attended Training program during 23 -25 April 2018 organized by University of Edinburgh, Scotland.

The Training program on Managing social hub – Sinnolab. The Training Modules on the position of HEI social innovation and interprise activities in the wider ecosystem, understanding the target market for HEI, engaging with internal and external stake holders, developing connections with governmental, business and third sector organizations, counstructing models of hub development and activities to fuel the hub project pipeline, financing startup and growth working with social investors for project development, effective leadership and stake holders communication skills for hub development and developing the business model and action plan.

The training also includes site visits to the living hub and ‘The Melting pot’, Scotland’s centre for social innovation. The coordinator of The Melting Pot Miss Samantha Hulls Explained the details of working of centre of innovation. Prof. Richard Harrison and Sarah Cooper from university of Edinburgh and Prof. Gordana Coric And Eva Biondic from VERN unniversity, Zagreb, Croatia were The trainers of the training program.

Dr. Satish Chaturvedi Chairman LTJSS, Abha Chaturvedi Secretary LTJSS, Dushyant Chaturvedi Director GB LTJSS and Abhijeet Deshmukh Director LTJSS appreciated Dr. Nanoti and Dr. Himte for this training program.
