Nagpur: After a long gap of nearly two years, the State-owned oil marketing companies on Thursday announced a price cut of Rs 2 on petrol and diesel. The new prices will come into effect from Friday morning.
Although the effective prices of petrol and diesel were not available from the oil marketing companies, some of the Nagpur-based dealers said, petrol would now cost Rs 103.54 per litre while diesel would cost Rs 90.17 per litre (tentative rates).
Till now, the price of petrol was Rs 106.04 per litre and diesel was Rs 92.59 per litre in Nagpur.
