Nagpur: A 45-year old divorced woman was raped frequently by a pervert-minded man with the force of life threat. The accused man exploited the woman sexually over a period from 2003 to May 2015 and threatened to kill her if she opened her mouth. The accused has been booked.
The Gittikhadan-based woman (45) had got divorced and was staying with her daughter. The accused Santosh Gokuldas Pendam (43), resident of Navi Basti, Gond Mohalla, Sadar, took advantage of the situation to the hilt. The accused Santosh raped the divorcee whenever her daughter was out of the house. Santosh even threatened to kill the woman if she dared to open her mouth and expose him. However, the woman finally registered a case at Gittikhadan Police Station against the accused.
PSI Bhagat, acting on the complaint, booked the accused under Sections 376(2)(N), 506 of IPC and launched a probe into the matter.
