People will vote for me for progress of South Nagpur, says a confident Kiran Pandav

Shiv Sena’s candidate from South Nagpur, Kiran Pandav, in an exclusive talk with Nagpur Today, in spite of his busy schedule, reiterated his resolve to regularize all the unauthorized and undeveloped layouts of South Nagpur. Kiran Pandav has been on “Padayatra” through various areas of South Nagpur. On October 10, 2014, Marathi actress Nirmiti Sawant, who mainly acts in Marathi films, television and dramas, had come for campaigning in support of Kiran Pandav. Kiran Pandav and Nirmiti Sawant together met womenfolk of his constituency.

NT: What were some of the significant works undertaken by you in this constituency?
Kiran Pandav said that during the last year Shiv Sena and their activists had undertaken various programmes for the people of his constituency. They have helped the people of his constituency to avail of all the schemes launched by Central Government.
1. Aadhar Card
2. Arogya Card
3. Jeevandayee Arogya Yojana
4. Ration Cards

Apart from this, Kiran Pandav claimed that they have helped in construction or renovations of 55-70 temples in their constituency. Kiran claimed that 500 youth have been helped to get gainful employment. They also undertake various social works and need based activities in their area.
Kiran Pandav claimed that if voted to power, he and the Shiv Sena will raise the issue in the Parliament of introducing a one window system for all schemes and taxes.

: What is your stand on an alliance with BJP post polls?
Kiran Pandav claimed that if BJP extends its hands for alliance after polls to form a government, his party will certainly go in alliance. He claimed that even the Party Chief Uddhav Thackeray had said that Shiv Sena has not broken the alliance, it was BJP who has broken the alliance. Kiran Pandav also added that based on the ideologies of Hindutva, the two parties can come together.

NT: What is your stand on the Bhumi-Putra to get equal job opportunities?
Kiran Pandav said that he firmly believes on the concept and asked is it not justifiable that the Bhumi Putra should get equal or more job opportunities? He claimed that in fact, they should be preferred over outsiders. He claimed that if elected he will ensure that all government schemes for the citizens will be for the local youth of my constituency immaterial of their religion, caste, creed, regional ancestry.

: How do you see your chances of winning, especially after the breaking of the alliance with BJP?
Kiran Pandav claimed that two brothers have separated and so has the two equally strong powers. Both will contest the polls and register a win.

NT: What is your message to the citizens of South Nagpur?
Kiran Pandav appealed to the people of South Nagpur constituency and said that he is the “Bhumi Putra” of the area and called himself as the “Janata ka Sewak”, so they should vote for him and ensure his win in the upcoming polls.
