Nagpur: Taking rival candidates head-on and forcing them to spend sleepless nights, Rajendra Mulak raised a pitch on the last day of Assembly election campaigning by taking out a Grand Rally in entire Kamptee constituency. Hundreds of people participated in the rally and the constituency reverberated with slogans “Rajendra Bhau aage badho…” The motorcycle rally, organized by Jaideep Kawade and Yashraj Mulak, was participated among others by activists of NSUI, Youth Congress, People’s Republican Party and others. Mulak was firmly standing in an open jeep and waving hands to the welcoming people followed by workers on motorcycles.
The rally highlighted Rs 233 crore drinking water scheme in Hudkeshwar Narsala at the initiative of Rajendra Mulak even though he was not MLA of Kamptee constituency. “Elect MLA who is not working only for relatives and friends but for all people and sections of society,” Mulak appealed while campaigning.
The Grand Rally of Congress candidate covered almost all areas of Kamptee constituency. The high-pitched drive began from Vadoda-Bhugaon Circle and took the Nagpur Rural areas by storm. “If given a chance, I will draw a blueprint for meticulous 25-year development plan,” assured Mulak.
Others who participated in Mulak’s Maha Rally included former ZP President Suresh Bhoyar, D D Sontakke, Jayant Dalvi, Ajay Raut, Sandeep Telrandhe, Raju Hindustani, and hundreds of workers of Congress and alliance parties.
