Pd Ravishankar Shukla’s bust installed at ‘Ravibhavan’ again

Nagpur: In the year 1960, the first Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Pt Ravishankar Shukla had set up the state capital in ‘Ravibhavan’ premises for which he had donated his land for the purpose. However, for decades his bust was lying in a remote corner of the Ravibhavan premise gathering dust. But now, after the painstaking efforts rendered by Brahman Sena Foundation, the bust of Pt Ravishankar Shukla was installed again at tight in middle of Ravibhavan Garden.

In a programme held recently, the District Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule unveiled the bust. He applied chandan tilak on the bust and garlanded it as his tributes to the late leader. Other personalities present on the occasion include Panditji’s son Bhupesh Shukla, senior lawyer Mahesh Shukla, National President of Brahman Sena Manish Trivedi, President of Brahman Mahila Sena Jaimala Tiwari, Brahman Sena’s City Organiser Jyoti Awasthi and others.

Speaking on the occasion, Bawankule recalled outstanding contribution of Pt Ravishankar Shukla in social life selflessly. He is an ideal for next generations of people’s representatives. He praised Brahman Sena for its tireless efforts for ensuring installation of Panditji’s bust at prominent place in Ravibhavan.
